नारद मुनि कहै : विद्यार्थी को चाहिए कि वह अपनी इंद्रियों पर संयम रखने की कोशिश करे। उसे विनम्र होना चाहिए और गुरु से गहरी दोस्ती रखनी चाहिए। ब्रह्मचारी को महान संकल्प लेकर गुरुकुल में इसलिए रहना चाहिए ताकि गुरु को लाभ हो।
Sage Narad said: A student should practice full control over his senses. He should be humble and maintain a strong friendship with his teacher. A brahmachari should take a great vow to stay in Gurukul only for the benefit of his teacher.
