सम्मार्जनोपलेपाभ्यां गृहमण्डनवर्तनै: ।

अनुवाद
एक सती स्त्री को अपने पति के आनंद के लिए अपने आप को अच्छे कपड़ों से सजाना चाहिए और सोने के आभूषणों से सजना चाहिए। हमेशा साफ और आकर्षक कपड़े पहनने चाहिए। अपने घर को साफ़ करना चाहिए और पानी और अन्य तरल पदार्थों से धोना चाहिए ताकि पूरा घर हमेशा शुद्ध और स्वच्छ रहे। उसे घरेलू सामान इकट्ठा करना चाहिए और घर को हमेशा अगरबत्ती और फूलों से सुगंधित रखना चाहिए और अपने पति की इच्छाओं को पूरा करने के लिए तैयार रहना चाहिए। एक सती स्त्री को विनम्र और सच्चा होना चाहिए, अपनी इंद्रियों को काबू में रखना चाहिए और मीठे शब्दों में बोलना चाहिए, समय और परिस्थितियों के अनुसार अपने पति की सेवा में प्यार से लगना चाहिए।
A devoted (sadhvi) woman should dress herself in good clothes and adorn herself with gold ornaments for the happiness of her husband. She should always wear clean and attractive clothes. She should sweep her house and wash it with water and liquids so that the whole house remains pure and clean always. She should collect household items and keep the house fragrant with aaguru and flowers. She should be ready to fulfill the wishes of her husband. A virtuous woman should be humble and truthful, control her senses and speak sweet words and serve her husband lovingly according to the time and situation.
