तत्पश्चात् जब असुरों ने स्वर्गलोक को तहस-नहस करना शुरू कर दिया तो उन लोकों के शासक भगवान शिव की शरण में गए और उन्होंने कहा- हे प्रभु, हम तीनों लोकों के देवता विनष्ट होने वाले हैं। हम आपके अनुयायी हैं। कृपया हमारी रक्षा करें।
Thereafter when the demons started destroying the heavens, the rulers of those worlds came to Lord Shiva and said – O Lord, we, the deities residing in the three worlds, are about to be destroyed. We are your followers. Please protect us.
