अनुवाद
ब्राह्मण का वध करने वाले को कालसूत्र नामक नरक में रखा जाता है। यह नरक अस्सी हजार मील की परिधि में फैला हुआ है और ये पूरे का पूरे तांबे से बना हुआ है। इस नरक की तांबे की सतह ऊपर से सूरज की गर्मी से और नीचे से नर्क में मौजूद आग की वजह से बहुत ज़्यादा गर्म रहती है। इसलिए ब्राह्मण की हत्या करने वाले को इस नरक में अंदर से और बाहर से जलाया जाता है। अंदर से भूख और प्यास से उसे जलन होती है, जबकि बाहर से तेज धूप और तांबे के ज़रिए होने वाली गर्मी से उसे जलन होती है। इसलिए वह कभी लेटता है, कभी बैठता है, कभी खड़ा होता है और कभी इधर-उधर दौड़ता रहता है। ऐसे ही उसे लाखों साल तक यातनाएँ झेलनी पड़ती हैं।
The killer of a Brahmin is kept in a hell called Kalasutra, which has a circumference of eighty thousand miles and is made entirely of copper. The copper surface of this world remains extremely hot due to being heated from above by the scorching sun and from below by fire. Thus the killer of a Brahmin is burnt from inside and outside. He is scorched from inside by hunger and thirst and from outside by the scorching sun and the fire below the copper surface. Thus he sometimes lies down, sometimes sits, sometimes stands and sometimes runs here and there. Thus he suffers torture for as many thousand years as the number of hairs on an animal's body.
