It is like the outer cover of the lotus-like earth. The width of this mountain is equal to the width of Jambudweep, that is, one lakh yojana or eight lakh miles, out of which 16,000 yojana (1,28,000 miles) is inside the earth, due to which the height of the mountain above the earth is only 84,000 yojana (6,72,000 miles). The width of this mountain at the top is 32,000 yojana (2,56,000 miles) and at the foot is 16,000 yojana.
