हंसपारावतव्रातैस्तत्र तत्र निकूजितम् ।
कृत्रिमान् मन्यमानै: स्वानधिरुह्याधिरुह्य च ॥ २० ॥

उस प्रासाद में जगह-जगह जीवित हंस और कबूतरों के साथ-साथ नकली हंस और कबूतर भी थे जो इतने सजीव थे कि असली हंस उन्हें अपने जैसे ही जीवित पक्षी समझकर बार-बार अपनी गर्दन ऊपर उठा रहे थे। इस तरह वह प्रासाद इन पक्षियों की आवाजों से गूंज रहा था।
In that palace, along with live swans and pigeons, artificial swans and pigeons were also placed so lifelike that the real swans were raising their necks thinking them to be living birds like themselves. Thus that palace was echoing with the sounds of these birds.
