यजुर्वेद के इन अनगिनत सैकड़ों मंत्रों से शक्तिशाली ऋषि ने वैदिक साहित्य की पंद्रह नई शाखाएँ तैयार कीं। इन्हें वाजसनेयि संहिता के नाम से जाना जाने लगा क्योंकि ये घोड़े की अयाल से उत्पन्न हुए थे और इन्हें काण्व, माध्यंदिन और अन्य ऋषियों के अनुयायियों ने शिष्य परंपरा में स्वीकार कर लिया।
From these hundreds of mantras of Yajur Veda, the powerful sage created fifteen new branches of Vedic literature. These became famous as Vajasaneyi Samhita because they originated from the mane of a horse and were accepted in the disciple tradition by the followers of Kanva, Madhyandina and other sages.
