सूत गोस्वामी ने कहा: उस व्यक्तित्व के प्रति, जिसकी ब्रह्मा, वरुण, इंद्र, रुद्र और मरुत्गण दिव्य स्तोत्रों के उच्चारण और वेदों को उनके उपांगों, पद-क्रमों और उपनिषदों के साथ पढ़कर प्रशंसा करते हैं, जिसे सामवेद के गायक सदैव गाते हैं, जिसे सिद्ध योगी समाधि में स्थिर होकर और स्वयं को उनके भीतर विलीन करके अपने मन में देखते हैं, और जिसकी सीमा किसी देवता या दानव द्वारा कभी नहीं पाई जा सकती—उस परम पुरुषोत्तम भगवान् को मैं सादर नमन करता हूँ।
Suta Goswami said: I offer my respectful obeisances to that Supreme Lord, Whom Brahma, Varuna, Indra, Rudra and the Maruts praise by uttering transcendental hymns and by reciting the Vedas with their parts and verses and the Upanishads, Whom the singers of the Samaveda always sing about, Whom the accomplished Yogis see in their minds by settling themselves in meditation and absorbing themselves within Him, and Whom no demigod or demon can ever surpass.
