हे श्रेष्ठ भृगुवंशी, मार्कण्डेय ऋषि से जुड़ी यह गाथा भगवान की परम शक्ति का वर्णन करती है। जो कोई भी इसका सावधानीपूर्वक वर्णन करता है या इसे सुनता है, उसे दोबारा भौतिक अस्तित्व में नहीं आना पड़ेगा, जो कि केवल भोग-विलास की इच्छा पर आधारित है।
O best of the Bhrigu lineage, this description related by the sage Mārkaṇḍeya reveals the transcendental potency of the Lord. One who properly narrates it or hears it will not have to come again to the material world based on the desire to perform fruitive activities.
