इस प्रकार मैंने तुमसे अत्यंत बुद्धिमान ऋषि मार्कण्डेय के कार्यों का, विशेषकर जिस तरह उन्होंने परमेश्वर की माया की अद्भुत शक्ति का अनुभव किया, वर्णन कर दिया।
Thus have I described to you the activities of the extremely intelligent sage Mārkaṇḍeya, particularly the way in which he experienced the wonderful power of the Lord's illusory power.
