न ह्यम्मयानि तीर्थानि न देवाश्चेतनोज्झिता: ।
ते पुनन्त्युरुकालेन यूयं दर्शनमात्रत: ॥ २३ ॥

मात्र जल वाले स्थान तीर्थ नहीं होते, न ही देवताओं की निर्जीव मूर्तियाँ असली पूजनीय देवता। चूँकि बाहरी दृष्टि पवित्र नदियों और देवताओं के उच्च भाव को समझ नहीं पाती, इसलिए ये लंबे समय बाद ही पवित्र हो पाते हैं। लेकिन तुम जैसे भक्त, बस दिखने भर से, पवित्र कर देते हो।
Mere water bodies are not holy places, nor are lifeless idols of gods the true idols to be worshipped. Since the external vision cannot understand the lofty intentions of holy rivers and gods, they become pure only after a long time. But devotees like you purify by mere darshan.
