सर्वे गुणमया भावा: पुरुषाव्यक्तधिष्ठिता: ।
दृष्टं श्रुतमनुध्यातं बुद्ध्या वा पुरुषर्षभ ॥ ३१ ॥
अनुवाद
हे श्रेष्ठ पुरुष, भौतिक वस्तुओं के सभी गुणों का सम्बन्ध आत्मा और प्रकृति के साथ होता है। चाहे वे देखी गई हों, सुनी गई हों या मन में सोची गई हों, मूलरूप से वे सभी प्रकृति के गुणों से बनी होती हैं।
O best of men, all the conditions of material existence are related to the interaction of the enjoying soul and material nature. Whether they are seen, heard or thought within the mind, they are composed of the modes of nature without any exception.
