With Lord Viṣṇu always on the side of the demigods, the demons cannot harm the demigods. Similarly, any person or community devoted to Kṛṣṇa is extremely fortunate. Since such people have great affection for Kṛṣṇa, they can never be defeated by Kamsa's associates, the demons (or the internal enemies and the senses).
