भगवान का पीछा करते हुए वह यवन उन पर यह कह कर अपमान कर रहा था, "तुमने यदुवंश में जन्म ले रखा है, तुम्हारे लिए इस तरह भागना उचित नहीं है!" परंतु कालयवन भगवान कृष्ण तक नहीं पहुँच पाया क्योंकि उसके पाप कर्म-फल अभी धुले नहीं थे।
The Yavana was chasing the Lord and insulting Him, saying, “You have taken birth in the Yadu clan, it is not proper for you to run away like this!” Yet Kalayavana could not reach Lord Krishna because the consequences of his sins had not yet been washed away.
