मृत हाथी को वहीं छोड़कर भगवान कृष्ण हाथी का दाँत लिए हुए अखाड़े में प्रवेश कर गए। कंधे पर हाथी का दाँत रखे हुए, उस हाथी के खून और पसीने की बूँदों के छींटे उनके शरीर पर पड़े थे और उनके पसीने की छोटी-छोटी बूँदों से उनका कमल जैसा मुख आच्छादित था। इस रूप में कृष्ण बहुत ही सुंदर लग रहे थे।
