धीरे-धीरे भूमि के विभिन्न क्षेत्रों ने अपनी कीचड़ वाली अवस्था त्याग दी और पौधे अपनी कच्ची अवस्था से बढ़ने लगे, उसी प्रकार से जैसे धीर मुनि अपना अहंकार तथा स्वामित्व भाव छोड़ देते हैं। ये वास्तविक आत्मा से अलग वस्तुओं पर आधारित होते हैं, अर्थात् भौतिक शरीर और उसके उत्पादों पर।
Gradually the various parts of the land gave up their muddy state and the plants grew beyond their immature state. This happened in the same manner as the patient sages gave up their ego and attachment. These are based on the real Self—that is, something entirely different from the physical body and its products.
