उस समय स्वर्गलोकवासियों ने बकासुर के शत्रु श्री कृष्ण पर नन्दन-कानन में उगी मल्लिका के फूलों की वर्षा की। उन्होंने दुन्दुभी और शंख बजाकर तथा स्तुतियों द्वारा उन्हें बधाई दी। यह देखकर सारे ग्वाल-बाल आश्चर्य में डूब गए।
At that time, the inhabitants of heaven showered jasmine flowers grown in Nandan forest on Krishna, the enemy of Bakasura. They congratulated him by blowing the drum and conch and by singing praises. All the cowherd boys were surprised to see this.
