We respect your privacy. The ISKCON Digital Gurukul App is designed to be completely offline and serverless:

• Does not require you to create an online account.
• Does not collect or upload your child's name, age, email address, or any other personal identification to any server.
• Does not access your contacts, camera, or microphone.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide a personalized educational experience, the App stores certain data strictly locally on your device:

• Child Profile: The name and age group entered during onboarding to tailor the story recommendations.
• Progress and Streaks: Data regarding read stories, reading streaks, and earned achievements.
• Settings: Your preferences (such as Dark Mode, Font Scale, and Notification preferences).

All this data remains entirely on your device's local storage and is never transmitted over the internet to our servers or any third parties.

3. Notifications

The App uses local, on-device notifications to remind users about daily streaks and morning stories. These notifications are scheduled locally on your device without the use of cloud-based push notification servers (like Firebase Cloud Messaging).

4. Analytics and Tracking

The ISKCON Digital Gurukul App does not use any third-party analytics or tracking tools (such as Google Analytics or Facebook Pixel) to monitor your behavior or collect data about your usage. We do not display third-party advertisements.

5. Children’s Privacy

Our App is primarily designed for children to learn values from ancient texts like the Panchatantra, Ramayana, and Mahabharata. We are fully compliant with children's privacy laws (such as COPPA) because we do not collect, store, or transmit any personal information from children. Any profile information entered (like a first name) never leaves the physical device.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes.
